After Mirai gets permission to attend Magic School during the spring break, Riko brings her over to the Magic Shopping Street so they can buy her a school uniform and a broom. While waiting for Mirai's broom to be finished and Riko's broom to be repaired, the two girls are attacked by a spider-like woman named Sparda, who steals Mirai's necklace to prevent them from transforming before unleashing a Yokubaru. Refusing to stand by and let the street be destroyed, Mirai and Riko's passion allows them to awaken the power of another Linkle Stone.
