Chapter One: Lonely Wolf Treat
After running away from her pack, Treat the wolf has been separated from them by an avalanche that blocked the way back. Seeing no other choice for her, she continues on until she comes across a town called Frosting, which is inhabited by rabbits.Attempting to get through, Treat catches the attention of a rabbit named Juju, who shouts for everyone to get inside and lock the doors, then runs off. Feeling disheartened, Treat leaves the town, but not before receiving some more scorn from another resident. She ends up finding a vacant cabin nearby and moves in.
We cut to two months later, and Treat is still living in the cabin. Feeling hungry and having nothing to eat, she puts on her winter clothes and goes into Frosting's convenience store to buy some cup noodles. The clerk, Danny, is put off by her appearance but takes payment for the purchase anyways, telling her to leave.
As Treat leaves the store, she runs into Juju again, who berates her for continuously buying food at Danny's. Treat tries to explain her situation with the avalanche but is shut down and goes back to her cabin.
The wolf girl is still hungry after eating the noodles, then suddenly a bunny girl barges in while panicking. She hastily explains that a fox prevented her from going home. The rabbit is pleasantly surprised that not only Treat won't eat her, but will help her by scaring off the fox. She also introduces herself as Mochi.
