Between school duties, protecting the town and training with Crystal Eye, Dellville’s newest hero has a lot on his plate. Before long, Klaus Melfton soon finds both him and his alter ego – Lightning Dust – in deep trouble as he tries to balance it all out on his own, determined to prove himself truly capable of the burden a hero must carry.

- Exhaustion-Induced Idiocy: Klaus ends up in this state as he becomes overworked - he even openly admits to the fact that he hasn't been sleeping.
- Humongous Mecha: Doctor Zero uses a couple to try and attack Klaus. The first one Lightning gets away from easily. The second one is even bigger and successfully traps the super.
- Mecha-Mooks: Another favorite of Doctor Zero, he uses them for a variety of purposes, such as assisting in his lair, spying around town, and attacking nearly everywhere around town in order to wear Lightning Dust down.
- Stern Teacher: Klaus’s math teacher, Mr. Barkman, scolds Klaus for forgetting to do his homework before offering to tutor him.
- Wake Up, Go to School & Save the World: The main plot focuses on Klaus trying to find a balance between his life as a regular kid and his duties as a hero.
