- Artistic License – Physics: Stochastic modeling is a thing... it's a routine thing. It's a thing assigned for homework. It's not a groundbreaking next step to clean energy. However, it's a thing assigned for homework to grad students, so it's not exactly common knowledge.
- Character Development: Breanna initially sees no value in college, viewing it as a scam that saddles people with student loan debt for no benefit. After getting to know Emma better and seeing how passionate she is about her field of study, Breanna eventually decides that pursuing an education might not be the worst idea.
