As Rayford Steele, Buck Williams, and his wife Chloe mourn the loss of their fellow Tribulation Force member and pastor Bruce Barnes following the conclusion of World War III, Buck receives word from his friend Dr. Chaim Rosenzweig that Tsion Ben-Judah has gone into hiding since his family has been murdered following his public revelation of who the Messiah is on live television. As Buck goes into Israel to find Tsion and to smuggle him back into the United States to be under the protection of the New Hope Village Church, Rayford meets up with his old flame Hattie Durham, who is now pregnant with Nicolae Carpathia's child but is showing great dissatisfaction with Nicolae himself, realizing what kind of man he truly is. The story concludes with the Sixth Seal Judgment known as the Wrath of the Lamb, in which there is a great global earthquake and "stars" falling out of the sky, with about one-fourth of all mankind killed at that point.

- For the Evulz: World War III breaks out as a simultaneous but ultimately ineffectual attempt at rebellion against the Global Community. After the initial retaliation, Carpathia orders several nuclear bombings of various cities, seemingly at random, for no particular discernible reason except because he can and he has an excuse. There might be an element of Because Destiny Says So (because WWIII is prophesied to happen) but has little other than general evilness to motivate it outside of that.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: The document Bruce Barnes was working on before his death, that the Tribulation Force spend a lot of ink, paper, and money trying to print out. It never gets mentioned again past this story.
