Logan and Cerreta investigate college student Andrea Fermi's claim of having been raped by two men at a frat Halloween party. The case is complicated by Andrea drinking the night of the party and uncooperative frat members.
This episode contains examples of:
- But Liquor Is Quicker: Andrea'd had at least eight to ten shots, according to the bartender, before she went upstairs.
- Common Nonsense Jury: As Ben and Andrea say after the trial in a hurried conversation on the steps:Stone: Don't do this to yourself. You did nothing wrong.
Andrea: They knew what they did to me. They knew I didn't want them to. And that jury just told me that I'm guilty.
Stone: And they were wrong. - Questionable Consent: The defendents' strategy during the entire court case is to try to make it look like the case was this.
- Rape as Drama: This episode had a rape investigation, so this trope is obligatory.
