After a couple of diamond thieves attack Devon during a fundraiser, Michael discovers they're planned destination was in California's Napa region and sets out to bring them to justice.
Tropes:
- Berserk Button / It's Personal: The thieves stole the diamonds from a charity event, which is bad enough; but then they go and sucker-punch Devon after they had what they wanted. Michael is not happy, to say the least.
- I Have Your Wife: The criminals using the monastery are holding one of the monks as a hostage, so that the other monks can't risk fighting back or going to the authorities' for help.
- Magic Plastic Surgery: One of the diamond thieves' heads to a monastery. They monastery having been taken over by crooks who now run a clinic, that specializes in plastic surgery for criminals who want a "fresh start".
- Nuns Are Funny: The diamond thieves hide out at a vineyard run by a local monastery, and a couple of monks befriend KITT and end up being comic relief for the episode.
