A struggling restaurant claims to be an authentic Greek restaurant but has secretly recruited `Chef Mike' the microwave to help them out on a daily basis.
Tropes
- Berserk Button: Gordon doesn't like it when men disrespect their mothers. It looked like he was about to strike the head chef after the chef cursed out his mother.
- Companion Cube: The microwave is used so often the restaurant employees refer to it as "Chef Mike."
- Downer Ending: Sadly, El Greco was already beyond saving when Gordon arrived; its debts forced the restaurant to close its doors for good in December of 2011 before the episode even aired.
- Feuding Families: One of the major issues with the restaurant as it is owned by the chef's mother but the Aunt, the owner and Chef do nothing but yell at each other.
- Rage Breaking Point: Aunt Kiki finally got fed up with Chef Jake during morning prep when he broke his promise that he would be in at 10am (not coming in until well after noon) about how he has disappointed not only her but also his mother as all he is doing is throwing away her money.
