Eve and Carolyn are reeling. Eve strikes up an unlikely alliance with Kenny's colleagues at the Bitter Pill. Villanelle finds that management isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Tropes in this episode:
- Foil: Villanelle is assigned a new protégée, Felix, a 19-year-old boy who killed the person who was bullying his boyfriend, though his boyfriend was not happy to learn about it. Who else got their start killing as a romantic gesture to their same-sex partner, only for their partner to be horrified?
- Internal Reveal: Villanelle learns from Konstantin that Eve is still alive.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Konstantin points out to Villanelle that after shooting Eve, she angrily ran off instead of checking to make sure Eve was dead.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Carolyn, throughout the episode, is gradually shown to be detached and disheveled, understandably in response to her son's death.
- Wham Shot: The close-up of the fridge magnet Konstantin gave to Geraldine. Along with the static consuming Eve and Carolyn's words, we realize that the magnet is a bug, and not only is Konstantin listening in on Carolyn, but so is the Twelve.
