In the wake of the elections and finding she was used, Ryuko is still recovering following her monsterous transformation and unsure on how to proceed. In the midst of this, she befriends an expelled newspaper student.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Nui beats Ryuko hard at the end, even giving her a taste of her own medicine by destroying Senkentsu, much like how Ryuko destroyed the Goku Uniforms of many she faced.
- Hope Spot: After Ryuko gets over her grievances with Senketsu to save Shinjirō, he turns out to be Nui all along, who proceeds to curb stomp her and destroy Senketsu.
- The Mole: There was never a Shinjirō, it was Nui in disguise all along.
- Wham Episode: Senketsu is destroyed and his pieces used for Satsuki's army. Ryuko manages to hold onto one of them, however.
