Krash and Chiko are sitting in the sandbox, drawing. Krash is drawing a bicycle, while Chiko is drawing a television set. The complicated structure of the word makes Krash wonder why should they even pronounce them as such if there are short versions of the words. On their way home, Krash and Chiko begin shortening every word they come across; "pathway" is "pa", "banquet" is "ban", stairway is "sta" and so on. They get absorbed in their idea so much they begin shortening names as well, such as calling Carlin "Car".

They then sit on the well, recalling how they saved Wally from there. However, Krash accidentally pushes Chiko down the well, running to Carlin so he could come with him and save Chiko. Carlin doesn't understand him due to him speaking in shortened words, but rushes to the rescue once Krash explains the situation normally. Carlin then tells the kids to say words like they were meant to be said, but they don't learn their lesson and continue to come up with even more nonsensical words.
