Krash and Chiko launch a rocket, but during the flight it starts hitting the ground, destroying Olga's carpet, fence, and Barry's toilet, and then flies into Wally's newly written novel. Chiko decides that now they will definitely not be forgiven, and if nothing is spread, then their conscience will torment them. Krash decides to secretly compensate the victims. At night, Krash saws boards, and Chiko starts writing a novel. The next day, Barry shows his friends a piece of fence that he found in the morning. Dokko suggests that fate is trying to compensate for the damage that it has unfairly inflicted. Barry laughs at his guesses and says that maybe fate will destroy his house next time and send a couple of bricks in return. That night, Chiko continued to write a novel while Krash sewed a new carpet. The next day, Barry is surprised to notice that the fence has grown, and Olga brings a new carpet. Wally, who never got anything, is in a rage and denies the existence of fate, then runs away after destroying part of the fence.

Having gone down one more night, Krash and Chiko bring a new toilet to Barry's garden. Seeing him, Barry breaks and smashes the radio in surprise, after which he notices that it would be better if he had a radio. At night, Chiko hardly writes new pages for the novel while Krash goes through the radio components. The next day, Barry inspects the repaired radio receiver and looks up at the sky with gratitude. Krash and Chiko return home, but then they see Olga, whose iron has broken and her pantaloons are burned. At night, Krash mends his pantaloons, and Chiko finally finishes the novel. In the morning, Barry, Dokko, and Olga are inspecting the repaired things when Wally approaches them and shows them a written novel.

In the evening, Krash and Chiko go to bed with relief when suddenly they are stopped by Barry, Olga, and Wally in strange costumes and taken away. Krash and Chiko see their friends dancing around a campfire, near which there is an effigy made of carpet and Chiko's novel. Barry announces that he accepts them into the secret order of fate and dances a ritual dance with Olga, Dokko, and Wally. From their trampling, the scarecrow is destroyed, and the carpet with the novel is burned in the fire. Barry declares that if this world is fair, then tomorrow everything that burned down will be here safe and sound. Hearing this, Krash and Chiko faint.
