Other dub names: Chiko's Lullaby (Studio 100)

Chiko watches half-asleep Barry slowly walking from the window, discussing with Krash how lucky the bears are to hibernate the whole winter. Dokko notes that it's not just bears who do this. He takes a book from the shelf and reads a list of these animals, among which there are hedgehogs.

Chiko is set on going to hibernation. Krash tries to dissuade him from doing that, because he will die of boredom without his friend. Chiko is adamant, however. He can't even imagine how much sleep he lost over the years! Krash humbles himself and asks what should they do.

Barry tells Chiko that he should cover himself with several blankets, put a kettle next to the bed in case you're thursty, lie down, close his eyes, and put paw in his mouth. At Chiko's house, Krash covers his friend with many blankets. Chiko can't fall asleep eaily, however, and asks Krash to sing him a lullaby. Krash does just that, but his song quickly turns into a somber one, about how he will die of boredom over the winter. Despite this, Chiko falls asleep, and Krash quietly leaves the house. On the threshold, he meets Dokko, who tells him that some hedgehogs are just as active in winter as they are during the summer, such as Indochinese hedgehogs. Krash pulls Chiko out of bed and compares him to a photo of an Indochinese hedgehog, finding them very similar to each other. He is very glad that his friend doesn't actually need to hibernate, while Chiko is confused, wondering if it's spring already.
