• Didn't Think This Through: After Kenan realizes they can't ask Uncle Louie for the baseball back, Kel suggested to ask Babe Ruth to sign another baseball but Kenan reminds him that Babe Ruth was dead.
• Does Not Know How to Say "Thanks": Uncle Louie tells this to Roger and Sheryl after accidentally getting the former's autographed baseball of Babe Ruth, and that it's his most precious possession. However both Sheryl and Roger are confused by this as they believed he was talking about the cow snowglobe they intended to give him.
• Dumbass Has a Point: Kel does made a fair point that if Kenan hadn't been so eager to find his present, then the snow globe won't be smashed to bits.
• Irony: Kel has twice took notice of this to his own amusement that Kenan replaces his present with his father's baseball but turns out that present is for his uncle. Then, it later turns out that the baseball is actually Kenan's real present.
• Never My Fault: After Kel calls Kenan out for being nosy, the latter stares down at him to shut up.
• Replaced with Replica: Kel tries to switch Uncle Louie's gift box with Roger's autographed baseball with an identical wrapped box with the Cow snowglobe meant for him, but accidentally confuses them and left the one with the baseball in Uncle Louie's house.
• So Much for Stealth: When Kenan and Kel sneak into Roger and Sheryl's room to put a fake baseball, Kel accidentally throws the baseball on Kenan's parents bed and accidentally activates his talking pen, waking them up.
• Strong Family Resemblance: Kenan's aunts Shelma and Belinda, to him and Kel, despite the latter not being related to them at all.
