After his defeat at the hands of Bravo, Kaito believes he is no longer strong enough and seeks out a new strength. While Kouta seeks out a new job, Mai finds herself trapped in the Helheim Forest again, forcing Kouta and Mitch to go and rescue her.
- Blackmail: Micchy suggests that, if Takatora discovers that he stole the Suika Lockseed, he could claim that Sid manipulated him into it, knowing that Takatora would believe his little brother over the sketchy Lock Dealer.
- Cassandra Truth: When Takatora ponders who could have stolen the Suika Lockseed from him, Sid remarks "Maybe it was your brother?" and gets a dirty glare in response. Because it's this trope, of course Sid's correct, but he doesn't 100% know it until he confronts Mitsuzane later; he's just making an educated guess because, unlike Takatora, he's fully aware that Micchy is Armored Rider Ryugen. Though Sid seems rather entertained with Takatora not believing him as opposed to the usual reaction.
- Cavalier Consumption: During the production of this episode Gen Urobuchi apparently said "Hey, let's have Michi chomping on the popcorn along with Sid. It'll make him look like even more of a potential ass."
- Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: After Mai explains that tears between the two words randomly appear and disappear, Micchy quickly comes to the frightening realization that, just as Mai ended up trapped in the mysterious forest, a wandering Inves could become trapped in their world and cause havoc.
- The Resenter: Kaito and Mai both lived in Zawame when it was just a quiet, small town, and both despise Yggdrasil for the changes it brought when opening a new branch there.
