Just as the mystery seemed to be solved, it just raised even more questions! Two separate people confess to murdering Professor Odagiri, each having a motive and opportunity to do so. But soon it becomes clear that neither of them could have been actually responsible for his death. As it turns out, the killer may have had been right beneath the SCU's noses...
- Everybody Did It: Averted. While both Nishihori and Odagiri's assistant attempted to murder him, their efforts were ineffective. Time will tell how Kyuu's attempt went...
- Tampering with Food and Drink: Odagiri's assistant tried to kill him by slipping a drug that would worsen his heart condition instead of his usual medicine.
