Farewell, beloved fans of our beloved Reviewers... Worry not; as long as succu-girls keeps working hard, so too will our Reviewers.

Manga Placement: Chapter 26

Summary

Stunk and Zel are leafing through the calling cards they received from succu-girls they've visited, much to Meidri's distaste. They discover the reference letter for the Demon's Hole, and remember the request Demon Two made of them. Crim is unable to attend this trip due to being otherwise occupied running an errand, so they bring Kanchal and Brooz. The receptionist Howakko Bright is initially a little cold to them, but her mood instantly flips over into eager subservience when she reads the reference letter.

The boys soon learn that demons are very contract-oriented, eager to bind or be bound by rules, and that all the horror stories are caused by people foolishly approaching demons with poorly-worded contracts, only to be immediately taken advantage of.

Deathabyss soon learns about their review being published when Demon Two informs her while she's in the bath, and grumbles about how late the review was. Demia soon joins Deathabyss in the bath, and the two of them have an engaging discussion about various things, like the technology of people from other worlds, and the possibility of Deathabyss funding Demia's research.

Tropes specific to the segment

  • Deal with the Devil: The deal part is what matters. Souls and the ownership thereof, while directly mentioned by Stunk as part of his review, is irrelevant. Demons love making and acting under contracts. While they're not above exploiting Exact Words, they'll abide by any contract they enter. For example, "Marry me. I promise to make you happy" turns their spouse into their slave. However, "Marry me. I promise we will be happy together" turns the demon into a devoted partner, but a neglectful or abusive parent. It also means that Deathabyss would have stuck to her campaign promises from the election episode. When this is revealed in the Reviews, Deathabyss gets a load of complaints that this was kept a secret.
  • Loophole Abuse: See above. Zel turns his bargain to his advantage by putting in a Total Satisfaction clause, balancing it by saying that he has no qualms about paying the (exorbitant) full price if he has enough fun.

When you think of our heroes, remember this: when you help other (get their fuck on), you're only helping yourself (get your fuck on)...

Manga Placement: Chapter 27

Summary

Everyone in Ye Pubbe holds a moment of silence and prays hard for the New Year, except Crim, who asks Zel about the custom, accidentally shaking everyone's faith when he lets slip that God doesn't listen to prayers, annoying Zel with his lack of tact.

The boys get together afterwards to prepare for their favourite New Year custom: ensuring that their first round of sex for the year is a good one. Unfortunately, all their favourite succu-girls in town are busy, the reviews they've been posting boosting business in the succubus district quite considerably. Aloe encounters them and recommends the Dream Eaters, where they get to meet their favourite succu-girls in an erotic dream.

In the Stinger, Stunk and Zel are adventuring on the field, where their hormones act up a little. Stunk decides to go "raid" his father's harem for his jollies, and Zel follows him.

Tropes specific to the segment

  • Virgin Power: Due to the fact he kept refusing to sleep with anybody for so long, the moment the lizard-man became a 30-year-old virgin in the Season 1 finale, he literally turned into a wizard.
