The Taylor family heads down to the bowling alley, where Tim and Jill get a little competitive during a game. Meanwhile, the boys deal with an arcade bully.
Tropes:
- Bested at Bowling: Jill bests Tim in front of all his buddies. He actually gets the final strike to win but walks over the line. When the game first begins turning against him. Tim tries to claim an "I Let You Win" case.
- The Bet: Jill challenges Tim to a bet. The loser has to kiss the winner's shoes in public.
- Central Theme: Competition. On Tool Time, Tim and Al race to see who can nail drywall faster. Later, Tim and Jill’s bowling game starts out as innocent fun and becomes a full-blown competition. At the arcade at the bowling alley, Brad and Randy deal with a bully who wants to keep his high score at a certain video game that they’re currently playing.
- I Let You Win: After being Bested at Bowling, Tim tries to save face by claiming that he's letting her win because of her mother's conviction for grand theft auto.
- Not So Above It All: After sending the boys to bed after handcuffing the bully and spraying him with silly string, Tim and Jill gleefully chase each other around the house spraying each other with silly string.
