Cavey Jr., son of Captain Caveman, is mocked and ridiculed when he wants to discuss evolution in science class and they hire Harvey to prosecute the school.

- Call-Back: The episode is set after the events of "Beyond the Valley of the Dinosaurs", Sebben still fighting off the cavemen in modern times as the episode goes on.
- Take That!: The episode sides with the pro-Evolution side of the debate, portraying Creationism (in this case, Creationism taught in public schools, as well as proponents against teaching evolution) as ignoring all the facts and bullying people who disagree.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Birdman calls Magilla Gorilla to the stand to prove the "missing link" between simian and human (and thus, evolution). Birdman wants the jury to be amazed at a talking gorilla, but the most reaction he gets is a disinterested shoulder shrug and "Eh" from a juror.
