Nordle invites Gretel and Bailey over to his house for an afternoon soiree. Unfortunately, his dad, Professor Exclamation, has a meeting with The Nightmarionette, The Earworm and La Cebolla at the house on the very same afternoon, where they discuss how to destroy Hamster and Gretel as the Council of Düm.
Tropes:
- Bruce Wayne Held Hostage: Gretel can't use her superpowers because of the anti-superhero security system in Nordle's house, which would trap her in a box and hurl her into the air if she did.
- Chekhov's Skill: The episode opens with a dodgeball match, with Gretel, Bailey and Nordle attempt to win with Nordle's suggested Formation A-12 (they fail and perform Formation A-11 instead). When La Cebolla throws an onion at Gretel during a battle between the kids and the villains, the three manage to perform Formation A-12 successfully.
- Go Through Me: Professor Exclamation is about to use his mind erasing ray on Gretel and Bailey when Nordle stands between them and tells his father that he'll have to erase his memories too, including those from before Exclamation lost his elbows. Exclamation can't bring himself to do it.
- Heävy Mëtal Ümlaut: The Council of Düm is spelled with an Umlaut because it's hip and modern. La Cebolla asks why it says "dum" (as in "dumb"), as Professor Exclamation makes it clear it's pronounced DYOOM.
- I Lied: Exclamation's meeting was just an excuse to neutralize Nightmarionette, Earworm and Cebolla, for they would complicate his plans. Even when he said he couldn't wipe Gretel and Bailey's minds because of Nordle, he lied.
- Internal Reveal: Bailey finds out that Nordle's father is Professor Exclamation and tells Gretel, who already found out long ago.
- Mind-Control Music: The jingle that The Earworm wrote for the Council of Düm doubles as this specifically targeted to Professor Exclamation... too bad he had earplugs in, though.
