Together in Song
After a performance done by the Sky Philharmonic Orchestra, the crew is given an invitation to a disaster relief concert on Perfetto Island, caused by a storm that lead to a landslide.
As the disaster relief concert is reaching its end, a specific traveler approaches the crew, inspired by Elta's and Selfira's performance.
Tropes
- Clap Your Hands If You Believe: Caro's artworks varies depending on who is looking at it and how he feels himself. When the artist sees the paintings as distorted due to the loss of his wife, Caro takes his words seriously and causes all of his paintings to become monsters.
- Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": All of Perfetto Island's inhabitants are referred to by their profession. Even the artist that drives the whole plot is simply called "Artist".
- God in Human Form: Caro originally presents himself as a wandering traveler that just got on the island. It's not until the crew trails his singing voice and his primal beast aura that they find out who he is.
- The Heavy: After losing his wife from the landslide, the artist expresses disdain towards the arts and crafts, indirectly turning Caro into a potential threat.
- The Lost Lenore: The artist's wife is one of the few casualties of the landslide due to a painting she was trying to save, causing him to lose his appreciation of all forms of art.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: At one point, the islanders approached the crew to help out due to the bad weather leading to another potential landslide. While trying to fortify for such an event, falling rocks on the road causes them to abandon all of those plans.
- Story-Breaker Power: Much of the plot can be resolved if everyone is capable of understanding each other's feelings, leading to Niyon to go off on her own for much of the event until the crew realizes they need this power.
