In the past, the Clarks and the baseball field survivors race the Vultures for dwindling resources. In the present, the new survivors and the old survivors fight inside the SWAT vehicle and accidentally send it off of the road. Nick chases a lead on the Vultures while Morgan chases him. Meanwhile the two survivor groups work together to tow the SWAT car back onto the road.
Tropes:
- Character Death: This episode marks the death of Nick Clark, although he continues to appear in flashbacks in the following few episodes.
- Surprisingly Sudden Death: Nick is shot so quickly, that even he needs a moment to process it.
