Peter and his friends try to help Mayor Wild West reconnect with his estranged father, Old West.
Tropes:
- Daddy Had a Good Reason for Abandoning You: The real reason Old West walked out on Wild and his mother is because he was afraid that if he stayed in Wild's life his son would turn out to be an outlaw like him.
- Disappeared Dad: Old West walked out on Wild and his mother after he failed to go straight in order to support his family. Wild was less than pleased with his father's actions, which has created tension between them ever since.
- Parental Substitute: Alan, Wild West's stepfather who came into his and his mother's life after Old West walked out on them. A pretty competent one as the guys admit, although he's offhandedly mentioned by Wild West to be skeptical of vaccines.
- Trojan Horse: Or rather, Trojan Harry Bosch, built by the guys to distract Joe so they can break Old West out of prison. A comment by Joe when he sees it after they bust him out indicates this isn't the first time it's happened.
- White Sheep: Old West, his father, grandfather, and many of their relatives before them were notorious outlaws with long rap sheets. Wild West, however, ended up on the right side of the law due to being raised by Alan instead of Old West; much to Old West's relief due to considering himself too much of a bad influence to be parenting a child.
