The Bad Guy Wins: By the end of the episode, Drakken's crew captures Shiki's group, sells off Happy and Pino to the junkyard, takes over the Edens Zero and shuts down the androids, Weisz loses his arm, Drakken kills Shiki, Homura is implied to being sold off as a Sex Slave for Drakken's businesses, and Rebecca is forced into joining Drakken's crew.
Downer Ending: Drakken Joe pretty much wins. Shiki's crew are captured by Drakken and his gang, Drakken callously mentions that he sold off Happy and Pino off screen. Then, the group are subjected to torture, with Drakken sadistically shooting Shiki in the leg for moving and talking back one too many times, and then having his crew member slice off Weisz's arm. Also, Maria Slime, Diego and Seth managed to take over the Edens Zero from within with the latter using his virus form to shut down the androids. When Shiki promises to one day defeat and maybe even befriend Drakken, Drakken's response is to murder Shiki by shooting him point blank in the head, leaving Rebecca and Homura completely broken, with the latter being implied to be about to be sold off as a Sex Slave to repay her mom's debt. Although Xiaomei says that the story continues even though Shiki is dead, how does one even come back from an ending like that?
The Hero Dies: At the end of the episode, Drakken Joe shoots Shiki in the head, killing him instantly.
