Tropes:

  • Easy Come, Easy Go: The episode's subplot is Ray acquiring a winning lottery ticket and fighting with his sister Francesca over how to split the money. By the end of the episode, the ticket's been ripped to shreds by the truck driver's chickens before they have a chance to cash it in.
  • Frivolous Lawsuit: Courtesy of the egg truck driver, as Frasier trying to warn him of the open pit in the road leads him to swerving into a ditch and cracking his cargo anyways.
  • The Gambling Addict: The true reason for the Frivolous Lawsuit is because the truck driver has accrued a massive amount of gambling debt.
  • Literary Allusion Title: To The Beatles "I Am the Walrus", and in turn, its inspiration "The Walrus and the Carpenter" from Alice in Wonderland.
  • Loan Shark: The men that the egg truck driver owes gambling debts to become impatient, deciding to raid the man's chicken farm and becoming the main antagonists towards the episode's climax.
  • Locked in a Freezer: Fraser and Thatcher are locked in an incubator.
