She manages to protect Huey, but not her son who puts his life on the line to save everyone. Then she keeps up a vigil by Fenton's bed as he's wrapped from head to toe in a cast.

** During the bank robbery, Bouncer Beagle is wearing a duck-shaped hockey mask that looks like the logo of ''Film/TheMightyDucks'', while also wielding a hockey stick.

** One of the "good memes" Mark Beaks mentions is a turtle eating a pancake, which is a reference to the end of [[WesternAnimation/WanderOverYonder "The Catastrophe"]] when said video becomes the new obsession of a planet instead of Sylvia's video of AmusingInjuries.

She still has her TV addiction, though, in the form of Spanish soap operas.

** Before properly announcing his name, Roxanne derisively refers to Gizmoduck as [[Franchise/RoboCop Robocrook]], calling out Gizmo's direct inspiration.

* TakeThat: People holding the fact that Mark Beaks and Gizmoduck have different beaks as evidence that they aren't the same character serves as a take that to people in the previous series refusing to believe Launchpad isn't Gizmoduck in spite of that difference.
