In order to forge the crystal Tom fought the Skrill with into a sword, the Riders help the sick Magma Breather by smuggling it into I.C.A.R.I.S. Meanwhile, Eugene, who got put in charge of watching the dragons, has to keep Buzzsaw from discovering them.

- The Bait: Due to the Magma Breather's dislike for him, D'Angelo is used to bait the dragon into the I.C.A.R.I.S infirmary.
- Dude, Where's My Respect?: Despite being put in charge of the dragons by Tom, Eugene has a hard time getting the dragons to follow his commands.
- Gaslighting: In a rare positive example, Eugene nearly manages to convince Buzzsaw that he had just imagined Thunder. Unfortunately, that's when he spots the dragon.
- Heroes Prefer Swords: After forging the crystal he fought the Skrill with into a sword, Tom becomes this.
- Oh, Crap!: Eugene's reaction when he comes across Buzzsaw hunting for the dragons.
