The Bully: Elroy Graham, who had been caught red-handed by Friday and Smith for burglarizing a grocery store, admits he had been relentlessly bullied by his classmates because of his small size for his age.
Hope Spot: The final act, where Elroy offers a present to Friday ... some candy he had purchased with money from his first job. While Friday tells Elroy – who is getting counseling – he can't accept (moreso due to ethical reasons), he's happy with the apparent progress he's made so far and wishes him well.
Kiddie Kid: Elroy is this, but instead of just absorb the humiliation he turns to burglary.
Not Allowed to Grow Up: The suspect is revealed to be a diminutive-sized 15-year-old boy, who was 4'7" and 80 pounds soaking wet.
Tearjerker: In a way: Elroy Graham has been bullied at school because he was very little for his age – 4'7" and 80 pounds – and has few friends willing to stick up for him. When the bullying doesn't stop, he uses the burglaries as a cry for help. Friday and Smith are willing to help Elroy, and in the end he is assigned a psychiatrist to help him.
