Echo's assignment as a master thief named Taffy gets cut short when a mysterious phone call puts her into a doll state mid-mission. Topher becomes concerned after seeing Echo, Sierra and Victor regularly eat together despite the numerous memory wipes.
Tropes
- Better to Die than Be Killed: One of Echo's fellow thieves, after being wounded, decides to inject himself with drugs that would kill him rather than be captured by the guards. Instead, after he throws a smoke bomb, Echo drags him out to Boyd so Boyd can get him medical treatment.
- Character Catchphrase: Taffy's is "Blue skies", both when Echo and Sierra have been imprinted with her personality.
- Internal Reveal: Topher finds out for sure what's already been implied - Alpha is still alive, and was mostly likely responsible for the remote wipe of Echo.
- Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Echo pretends to have been attacked by her fellow thieves so she can be alone with the hotel security guard, which will allow her to subdue him so she and her fellow thieves can break into the safe.
