Synopsis

Dirk fulfills the prophecy and restores order by courageously returning to Blackwing to where it all began. Todd and Amanda go toe-to-toe with the villainous Suzie Boreton.

Tropes

• Badass in Distress: After defeating the Mage, Farrah is incapacitated due to her injuries.
• Bittersweet Ending: Wendimoor is saved, The Boy has returned, and Dirk, Todd, and Farah start the Detective Agency, but Project Blackwing is still active, Bart is imprisoned, and the universe is broken.
• Left Hanging: Since this was the last episode of the show, some plot threads are left hanging. Todd, Dirk, and Farah have just launched their detective agency, Amanda and the Rowdy Three are about to go on a quest to fix the universe, and Ken seems to have significant plans for Project Blackwing.
• Only a Flesh Wound: Averted. Farah, Hobbs, and Tina are put out of action after getting shot, and not able to get help by themselves. They also have to spend some time at the hospital in order to recuperate.
• Physical God: Francis has god-like powers in Wendimoor.
• "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Todd delivers a highly satisfying one to Suzie, telling her that far from being the heroine of the story like she keeps insisting that she is, she's not even properly the villain - she's just some random psycho who keeps showing up and ruining things for others, and no one can figure out why she's doing it or what she's got to do with anything.
