D-Stroy has arrived in the crater with a plan to get rid of Ty and his gang once and for all. In order to do that, he is teaming up with his brother once again.
Tropes:
- The Bad Guy Wins: D-Stroy and D-Structs are successful in sending Ty and crew into exile, and thanks to the Dreadtrux, they demolish all of the builds in the process.
- Batman Cold Open: The episode opens with the Trux trapped by one of D-Structs' schemes, apparently involving "magic ore".
- Bullying a Dragon: While D-Stroy manages to get the Dreadtrux under his control, it only listens to him. Any attempt by D-Structs to command it is met with retaliation.
- Call-Back: D-Stroy's plan is to sic the Dreadtrux on the others. Having apparently heard that Ty and D-Structs teamed up to take it down before, he relies on D-Structs' experience fighting the Dreadtrux to subdue it and get it under his control.
- Chekhov's Gun: To escape the trap D-Structs put the group into at the beginning of the episode, the gang builds a collapsible bridge. When fleeing from D-Structs and D-Stroy, Xee leads the gang to a secret tunnel that leads to a hidden forest but is inaccessible because it is on a high ledge. Fortunately, the tunnel is near where the collapsible bridge was left, allowing the gang to use it to climb to safety, and also to take the bridge with them so they can't be followed.
- Darkest Hour: The T-Trux brothers force the Trux into exile. As if on cue, the moment Ty has to accept that they lost is the moment the Dreadtrux tears down the light tower, destroying the light inside.
- Oh, Crap!: Ty tries to brush off D-Structs and D-Stroy working together as a minor problem as the loner nature of T-Truxes means they won't be working together for long. His opinion on the matter changes once D-Stroy reveals the two are brothers.Ty: If those two really are brothers, then maybe two T-Trux can work together.
- Trademark Favorite Food: It turns out the Dreadtrux loves helium ore. D-Stroy uses it to bribe the Dreadtrux into working with them, and tricks Ty and friends into using helium ore laced rocks in repairing their builds so the Dreadtrux goes after them.
- Wham Episode: The show has had cliffhanger episodes before, but this is the first Season Finale cliffhanger for the series, the consequences of which will drive the entire rest of the show.
