Steelbeak is tasked by F.O.W.L. to steal some money from banks to fund future operations, "or else". Rather than do it alone, he woos fellow evildoer Ammonia Pine into doing most of the work, but she starts to get too affectionate for his tastes. Meanwhile, Gosalyn convinces Darkwing to have an official fanclub to get some money from merchandising (and also to delay having to clean her room). However, not only does it inflate Darkwing's ego, it also puts the club in danger when Steelbeak holds them hostage.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Abhorrent Admirer: Ammonia Pine becomes this to Steelbeak when she genuinely starts to fall for his compliments.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: Implied for Steelbeak, who considers bank heists beneath him - hence why he gets Ammonia to do it for him.
- Didn't Think This Through: Steelbeak woos Ammonia into doing his work for him, but apparently didn't think about what to do if Ammonia did sincerely fall for him.
- Gone Horribly Right: Steelbeak sweet-talks Ammonia Pine into doing the heavy lifting on the bank robberies. Unfortunately, she starts to fall for him, much to his chagrin - and worse, he and Ammonia work so well together that High Command considers making them permenant partners.
- I Have Your Wife: Steelbeak and Ammonia hold the Darkwing Duck Fan Club hostage to get leverage over Darkwing.
