When Numbuh 3's pet fish dies, Numbuhs 1 and 5 work to get a new one while 2 and 4 flush the fish away before 3 finds out. And they better do it fast, because the Crazy Old Cat Lady is hungry for some fish!

- Crappy Carnival: Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 5 go to one of these to win a new fish for Numbuh 3.
- The Cuckoolander Was Right: While the rest of Sector V could tell that Numbuh 3's fish was dead, Kuki insists that he's just sleeping. Turns out she wasn't completely wrong as he was just pretending to be dead.
- The Con: The carny and the fish are running one in which the fish plays dead so that the kid who owned him will come to the carnival to win another fish from the carny's booth.
- Laser-Guided Karma: The carny gets his booth destroyed and fish presumably eaten by the Crazy Old Cat Lady.
- Never Say "Die": Numbuh 4 accidentally kills Kuki's pet fish, but all the others say is that it's "...you know." Though eventually subverted when Wally offhandedly mentions "What is it about dead stuff that's so cool?"
- Playing Possum: Mr. Fishy is revealed to be doing this as part of a con with the carny.
- Whole-Plot Reference: The quest to flush Mr. Fishy is a parody of The Lord of the Rings, with Numbuh 4 as Frodo, Numbuh 2 as a combination of Gandalf and Sam, Numbuh 3 as Gollum, Mr. Fishy as the One Ring, and the Crazy Old Cat Lady as the forces of Sauron.
