Zero, Optimus, Rai, Kallen, Ohgi, and Tamaki meet up with Taizo Kirihara, leader of the heads of Kyoto, and an old acquaintance of Lelouch from his younger days at the Kururugi Shrine, in an effort to gain his trust and support.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Kallen obviously wasn't happy to see Kaguya hug Lelouch out of nowhere.
- Cool Old Guy: Even when presented with a giant alien robot like Optimus Prime, Kirihara didn't lose his cool.
- The Glomp: Kaguya does this to Lelouch upon seeing his identity as Zero. Kallen wasn't happy.
- Internal Reveal:
- After Lelouch reveals his identity as Zero to Kallen at the end of Battle for Narita, Kallen was told everything about Lelouch and Nunnally's identities of former royalty, his backstory, his Geass, and C.C. from himself, Rai, and the Autobots.
- This time, Lelouch reveals his identity not only in front of Kirihara, but also to the rest of the heads of Kyoto, along with Ohgi and Tamaki.
- Pervert Revenge Mode: After learning that Lelouch is Zero and his reasons to fight, Kallen decides to pay Lelouch back for Chapter 4's bathroom incident by punching him in the gut. Much to C.C., Arcee, Bulkhead, Ironhide, Cliffjumper, and Wheeljack's amusement.
- Ship Tease: Kallen is clearly jealous of Kaguya hugging Lelouch.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Unbeknownst to a distraught Shirley and Mrs. Fenette, Joseph is still alive compared to canon; instead he and the scientists from Code R are picked up by Soundwave and Shockwave.
