13 years ago, Arthur Craddick is wrongfully convicted of a double murder in spite of Bull's testimony about why the prosecution's eyewitness shouldn't be trusted. When mobster Kiril Sidorenko confesses, Arthur asks for Bull's help with a retrial.

- Bittersweet Ending: Arthur is paroled and his conviction might be reversed in another occasion but his son Leo is arrested for the murder of the detective who arrested Arthur.
- Hope Spot: Sidorenko's confession gives Arthur hope that he'll be freed until Sidorenko dies before the prosecution can cross-examine him and it invalidates the confession.
