A rich woman's death was declared an accident but her youngest son, Taj, enlists help from TAC into convincing the authorities to do a deeper investigation. As a result, her death is declared a murder and Taj's father is the main suspect.

- Crying Wolf: Taj's brother Arin claims the former's lies when Taj denied doing drugs will be held against him.
- The Reveal: Miriam's husband isn't the one who killed her. Arin killed her.
- Red Herring: Miriam's husband was cheating on her and knew he wouldn't have any part of her fortune if she divorced him and that made people think he killed her. Their son Arin turns out to be the real culprit.
