Recap / Bluey Handstand

Go To

It's Bingo's birthday and the house is full with the Heeler family and Bluey and Bingo's friends. In the kitchen, Bingo tries to show everyone her handstand, but the adults are too busy with party preparation and the kids are too busy playing to watch for long enough for her to successfully complete one.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Nana Heeler tries to make herself useful by helping the adults or joining in the kids' games, but finds herself similarly ignored. Bingo performs her handstand for Chloe, but her attention is diverted at the last second.

Bingo wonders if anyone will ever see her handstand, when Nana tells her that she was in fact watching. Bingo excitedly asks Nana if she can do it again, and Nana pulls up a chair. As the guests gather for the duck cake, they wonder where Bingo is; she's still inside performing handstands for her Nana.

Tropes:

  • Irony: The episode takes place during Bingo's birthday, a time when everyone should be making it her special day and giving her attention and adulation. But throughout the story, Bingo's attempts at handstands is overlooked in all the chaos of preparing for her party.
  • Sequel Episode: To "Duck Cake"
