This episode contains examples of

  • Damsel in Distress: Averted and Lampshaded. When the bank is being robbed at the beginning of the episode, Greasepit is held hostage. When his captor announces that he has a hostage, the Biker Mice initially assume that Charley is the hostage, which leads to her complaining about the Biker Mice always assuming she's the hostage.
  • Eleventy Zillion: One of the numbers Greasepit says when he tries to count his pennies is "eleventy-seven".
  • Loophole Abuse: The Biker Mice eventually take care of the bounty Limburger placed on them by turning themselves in, since the wanted posters only said to bring the Biker Mice to Limburger dead or alive without specifying who is allowed to do so.
  • Save the Villain: The Biker Mice end up having to save Greasepit when he gets held hostage by the Pit Boss's minions.
  • Shirtless Captives: The Biker Mice never really wore shirts in the first place, but when Throttle and Modo are forced to work for the Pit Boss as slaves, Modo is without the covering he normally has over his chest and Throttle isn't wearing his leather vest or bandanna.
  • Shout-Out: Greasepit at one point calls Charley "Little Miss Anette Funicello". Anette Funicello was one of the most popular members of the original The Mickey Mouse Club.
  • Villains Out Shopping: Rather than assist Limburger in his evil plan, Greasepit is just trying to put his life savings into a bank account.
