- Emo Teen: The boys attempt to act like sad, depressed, and suicidal teenagers because they think it'll make them look sensitive and attract girls. All it does is get them sent away for therapy.
- Hates Being Touched: Beavis and Butt-Head react this way when told to hold hands during the exercise.
- Recycled Premise: To King of the Hill's "Naked Ambition." Beavis even wears his robe similar to Bill and Dale.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Beavis and Butt-Head pretend to be depressed, thinking that they'll score, and make a big show of it during class. Unfortunately, they end up in a mental asylum, as the school thinks they aren't qualified to provide the help the two need.
