- Expository Hairstyle Change: Since their first introductions to the robins, Jim Gordon's hair has started to go gray and Renee Montoya's hair has grown to her shoulders.
- Funny Background Event: One of the cops makes the mistake of underestimating Robin due to his age. Robin lets him have it, and the poor cop is seen in the background terrified at this little kid as he yells at him, lectures at him, and then complains to Batman about it.
- Lower-Deck Episode: Instead of the Batfamily, we get to see them from the perspective of their most valued allies on the GCPD.
- Pungeon Master: Dick, according to his text box introduction.Text box: Dick Grayson, 16 years ago. His puns are his most lethal weapon.
- Teen Genius: Tim and Steph especially. Tim gives a group of cops a lecture on the chemical composition of Scarecrow's fear toxin, asking them to hold all questions until he's finished. Steph figures out all of Riddler's riddles in ten minutes.
