Between Season 3 and 4
After the disappearance of the Titan, the destruction of the Codices caused the closure of the portals that allowed magic into the Crater's realm, and magic faded away. With the destruction of most of the Intendants Guild and the disappearance of magic, the world fell into chaos as countries and people searched for a new way to live. New technologies were developped and the political geography was greatly changed.After two years, the ray of light in the Cathedral of Light in Castelblanc suddenly was alit agin, as magic slowly started coming back around the town. To the Church of Light, this was definite proof that their faith was the only true one, to many others, it was sign of a conspiracy or shadowy dealings.
Tensions rises between the land of Castelblanc and its neighbor nation of Kivor, still deprived of magic.
Episode 1
The group has been sent as emissaries of Castelblanc to Kovir, to try and defuse any tensions. As they enter the Kirov Senate, accompanied by Mani and officials from the Church of Light, they are greeted with contempt by most of the nobles there. Kirov's Emperor seems a tired man and it's his Chancellor who does most of the talking, accusing the group (and Castelblanc,) of knowing how to make magic return and to want war with Kirov. The group manages to convince the Kirov's nobles that it is not war they want and that they'll try to find what made magic return and, if possible, to bring it back everywhere.As they leave the Senate, they see a man in the street preaching the people to give up their religion and to convert to the Light. After a brief argument between the Light's officials and the party, B.O.B. adresses the masses and tells them to stop fighting among themselves.
