The group has been send as emissaries of Castelblanc to Kovir, to try and defuse any tensions. As they enter the Kirov Senate, accompanied by Mani and officials from the Church of Light, they are greeted with contempt by most of the nobles there. Kirov' Emperor seems a tired man and it's his Chancellor who does most of the talking, accusing the group (and Castelblanc,) of knowing how to make magic returns and to want war with Kirov. The group manages to convince the Kirov's nobles that it is not war they want and that they'll try to find what made magic return and, if possible, to bring it back everywhere.\\
As they leave the Senate, they see a man in the street preaching the people to give up and their religion and to convert to the Light. After a brief argument between the Light's officials and the party, B.O.B. adress the masses and tell them to stop fighting among themselves.
