Retsuko and Haida's relationship is deteriorating so Fenneko tries to help bring the two together. Retsuko accidentally heard Fenneko and Tsunoda talking about her and Haida's relationship.
Meanwhile at work, Himuro orders Ton to lay off workers due to the Accounting department sucking up too much of the company's money and resources, including denying access to the AC to try and cut costs. Ton however, refuses to lay anyone off.

- Know When to Fold Them: Tsunoda decides that Retsuko and Haida aren't meant to be together.
- Right Behind Me: In the records room, Fenneko and Tsunoda talk in private about what the former's talk with Haida about him and Retsuko. They are soon shocked when they learn Retsuko was unintentionally hidden but within earshot.
- Sherlock Scan: Fenneko tells Retsuko and Haida a story about how she found out where a guy who was being garbage to her on social media lived by just looking at a selfie he posted on social media via a reflection of a shoe store sign in his eyes.
- Undying Loyalty: Despite considering Himuro's advice to fire people in his department to help with the company costs, Ton decides not to, heeding the previous president's words to treat everyone like family.
