- Straight: Alice and Bob have sex, and as a result, Bob's condition improves.
- Exaggerated: Alice and Bob have sex, and Bob, who was on the brink of death, has perfect health afterwards.
- Downplayed: Alice and Bob have sex, and while Bob still has to recover, his chances of doing so are much better now.
- Justified:
- Bob was suffering from Hypothermia; Alice's body was incredibly warm, so having sex allowed him to warm up.
- Bob had a migraine, and the endorphin kick killed the pain.
- Inverted: Alice and Bob have sex, but Bob's condition gets worse.
- Subverted: Alice and Bob have sex. Bob's health doesn't change.
- Double Subverted: His physical health, anyways. It does cause him to get over his mental hangups.
- Parodied: Bob goes from being seconds away from death to perfect health from having the slightest sexual contact with Alice.
- Zig Zagged: But then it turns out that Bob getting over his mental hangups is just an act...
