Nightmare Fuel / The Rise of Phoenixes

• Ning Yi's dream in the prologue starts out cute as his child self plays hide-and-seek with his mother. It abruptly turns dark when he finds his mother's body with her murderer standing beside her. As the murderer walks towards child Ning Yi we see that he's actually adult Ning Yi. Then he says everyone died because of child Ning Yi. It's incredibly creepy, made even worse because at this point we have no idea what he's talking about.
• While under the effects of the Crown Prince's poison Ning Yi starts to sleepwalk and wakes up in strange places with no memory of how he got there. He asks Ning Cheng to tie his arms and legs so he can't wander around in his sleep. The next night he has a nightmare of strangling Zhi Wei after she untied him. Then he wakes up, untied and nowhere near his bed, and can't tell if his nightmare was real or not.
  • Later Ning Yi hears Zhi Wei is missing and hasn't been seen for days, so he begins to worry he really did accidentally kill her.
