Nightmare Fuel / Noein

• The forces of Shangri'La look nightmarish. Their spaceships are humanoid abominations.
• The Body Horror the Dragon Knights go through when attacking or receiving damage, which tends to manifest as tumor-like growths on their bodies or blue crystals seeping from the wounds.
• Noein was once an ordinary high school student, and an alternate version of Yuu. Until a car crash killed his true love in front of him, after which his single-minded rage propelled him to gather followers, take over his Earth, master interdimensional travel, and nearly succeed in obliterating everything in the multiverse.
  • In the end, Noein had fallen so far that both Yuu and Karasu vow to never turn out the same way he did.
