India the Moonstone Fairy is the 22nd book in the mainline Rainbow Magic series, and the 1st in the Jewel Fairies subseries.
The jewels from Queen Titania's crown have been stolen, and Rachel and Kirsty are tasked with finding them.
Tropes:
- An Ice Person: Jack Frost imprisoned the jewels in ice when he took them.
- Babysitting Episode: Rachel and Kirsty spend some time watching Rachel's neighbour's baby, Ellie Palmer, who happens to have the missing moonstone on her mobile.
- Foreshadowing: The story opens with Rachel having a nightmare. Later it's revealed this is because India's moonstone, which protects the magic of dreams, has been stolen.
