- Takemichi come visit to see Hinata at her apartment and made him cry to see her again for moment that he will never forget about her how she made him change to fix his problems.
- Takemichi told Naoto, Hinata's younger brother that he and his sister going to die by car crash between turf wars which made Naoto shocked and terrified because Takemichi comes from future. Naoto decided that he will be alive and save his sister from her death in the future. They made promise each other for Hinata by shaking hands become trigger of time leaping.
- Takemichi wakes up in the infirmary at the station and sees its July 4th, 2017. He guesses this was just a dream, but then wonders how he survived the train incident without a scratch. The one who saved his life shows up and wishes to speak with Takemichi that turns out to be Naoto and Takemichi had changed his fate from time traveling. With the information he told him in the past, Naoto was able to save him. Naoto reveals he studied really hard and became a police officer, however, he still wasn't able to protect Hinata, who still died. Naoto then asks Takemichi to help him save his sister, and then they work together to save her from future.
- After fighting with Kiyomasa, Takemichi was meet by Mikey Sano, Toman president. He seem to like Takemichi because his determination and decide become his friend to him.
- Takemichi asked Mikey about why they became friends, he answered the question that he remind him of his older brother, Shinichiro because his personality and determination similar to Takemichi.
- Hinata kisses Takemichi and assuring him that he don't have to be really strong like Mikey and Draken, and let him know she loved him just the way he was.
- After draken got stabbed by Kyomasa, the ambulance brought him to the hospital and sent him to surgery. Everyone looking very worried if draken couldn't make it but now he survived thank to the recovery that made everyone included Mikey crying for good news of Draken.
- Draken give Takemichi Toman's uniform and states that it from Mikey and it belonged to him from when he first formed Toman. Takemichi is free to decide if he wants to wear it, but Mikey wanted Takemichi to have it as he saved Toman. Draken stands up and bows, thanking Takemichi one more time.
- While Chifuyu going home, he gets stopped by one of the guys he beats earlier, who called an older guys from Mandala gang, and then Baji shows up and he beats them all, he warns them that if they touch his friend again, he will crush their entire gang. Baji then asks Chifuyu if he likes yakisoba. Amazed by what Baji did, Chifuyu confirms. Baji then invites him at his place, making Chifuyu realize they live in the same building, but different floors. Finding Baji is really cool, Chifuyu decides to become his close friend.
- At Tokyo Juvenile Detention Center, Takemichi and Draken visit Kazutora. Kazutora tells them he is likely to get 10 years, but wonders if that's enough, however he have no intention of running away and will face what he have done. Draken tells him to don't kills himself , knowing what Kazutora was thinking, and that he won't forgive him if he takes his life to try to make amends. He then gives him a message from Manjiro, that he is still part of Toman and that he forgives him and made him cried for redemption.
- Kisaki is isolated from his peers because his high intelligence but Hinata praised him as his only friend before the begining.
- When Hakkai was young, he was beating some boy, but Mitsuya, who was also babysitting his siblings, stopped Hakkai, and telling him that he needs to use his strength to protect others.
- Takemichi tells Hakkai that he sucks, but he isn't the only one who sucks, as Takemichi sucked even more in his life. So with Takashi because he explains that he acted big when he said to not hate the life he was born into, in the reality Takashi hated his life. Takashi states that everyone is weak, but this is why people have friends. Takemichi states they won't abandon him for lying to him. Hakkai takes off his Black Dragon jacket and thanks everyone for being there for him.
- Hakkai decide that he will protect Yuzuha from Taiju at the first time, so he don't want his sister to get hurts.
- As the Takemichi and Hakkai fight against Taiju, Yuzuha feels her ghostly mother's hug who tells her that she isn't alone which means everyone included Hakkai who cared for her and thanked them for stand up against Taiju for her.
- Takemichi stays silent for a moment and then bursts into tears and apologizes. He promised her father so she won't get in danger. He didn't want she to get hurt for something he done. Takemichi promised to protect her, even if she dies. Takemichi then asks her to forget that they broke up. Hinata then asks him to take her to the shrine on New Year's. Hinata states they have made up, which causes Takemichi to cry even more.
- After Takemichi punches Kakucho, he remembers him that they were friends. Takemichi then rushes to Kakucho calling him Kaku-chan. Kakucho smiles and states the took him a while to realize it. They haven't seen each other since second grade, since Kakucho moved away
- Izana meet Kakucho at an orphanage, complimenting Kakucho's scar. When he learns Kakucho is making a grave for his parents, Izana destroys it, telling Kakucho to forget those who died, as his life is now worthless. Kakucho attributes Izana for giving his life a purpose as his servant, but then they became best friends.
- Mikey told Emma that he will go by the name "Mikey" so she won't be lonely. While Emma was moved to tears, she called Mikey an idiot for thinking that her name was the reason for her sadness. Mikey was happy to see her smile.
- Izana is alone and abandoned in the orphanage until Shinichiro visited him, claiming to be his brother. He taught him everything he knew, from fighting, delinquency, fashion, hairstyle, and even his own mannerisms. Izana regarded him as only brother he'd ever have.
- At Pah-chi wedding, Takemichi looks around, realizing that everyone has found success in their lives; Pah-chin has inherited his parents' prosperous business, with Peh-yan as his business adviser. His new wife is a childhood friend. Mitsuya has become a fledgling fashion designer, while Hakkai is a successful overseas model with Yuzuha as his manager. Angry and Smiley own a ramen shop, while Chifuyu owns a pet shop, which Kazutora helps him with. Draken and Inupi own a bike shop together. Outside from the wedding, Takemichi sees Naoto and hugs him that he is alive. After Naoto declares their mission is complete, reaching a future where Hina is alive.
- Senju thanks Takemichi for having fun times as a friend which made her smile.
- After recovering from his injuries, Takemichi assures that being himself is enough. He now determined he will lead on the guidance of his friends and form the gang to bring Mikey back.
- Takemichi comforts Senju for her attempts and acknowledges that he himself is a failure too. He invited her to his gang so they will stop Mikey from his dark impulses
