Heartwarming / The Sensational She-Hulk

Go To

  • Issue #12 shows all the people who turned out for a She-Hulk movie and turned it into a big hit at the box office. It really shows just how much Jen's heroism is acknowledged and appreciated.

  • Louise quitting her job at the D.A.'s office to help Jen set up her new legal practice.

  • Issue #18 has Blake Tower sending a case to She-Hulk's new legal practice, showing how much he still respects her skills as a lawyer.

  • Issue #24 has Jen lose an embezzlement case to a man named Bono who frames her client. The end of the issue reveals that in the year 2020, Bono is finally exposed as a criminal by Tanya Yule, a prosecutor who was inspired by Jen's career. She writes a letter to Jen at the end thanking her for her help.

  • In issue #35, Changeling, a reformed X-Men villain, is resurrected along with three other Mutants as a zombie by the Black Talon. Changeling uses what little free will he had left to alert the police towards the Black Talon's plan. She-Hulk thanks him for his help.

  • In issue #36, Jen uses the gift Saint Nick gave to her back in issue #8 to become temporarily human for Christmas. She and her father then put out cookies and milk for Santa Claus just as they used to do when she was a little girl.

  • Issue #49 has Morris declaring his love for Louise to her.

  • Issue #53: While stuck in the afterlife after a battle with the Rumbler in the previous issue, Jen encounters the Green Goblin who hits her with a hallucinogenic gas. The gas causes Jen to hallucinate that her mother Elaine and her friend Jill both blame her for their deaths (Elaine died in a car accident on her way to Jen's dance recital while Jill was collateral damage in Nicholas Trask's attempt to kill Jennifer). Jen flies into a rage and starts beating down on the Goblin. At that moment the real Elaine shows up to calm Jen down and assures Jen that neither she nor Jill blame her for their deaths.

  • Issue #60: She-Hulk and Renee's farewell to the audience.
She-Hulk: I had this fancy speech all prepared, but it seems kind of pretentious now. We're just really glad you've been with us all these years, folks. We've all had a lot of fun... and we hope you have too... and, and... oh, you know what I mean. Thanks for being there.
Renee: The same goes for all the people who've worked with us — writers, artists, letterers, colorists — and the hardworking crew in the Marvel Comics Bullpen. There are too many of you to list here, but we — and the readers — know who you are.
She-Hulk: And most of all, I have to give extra special thanks to the man who started all this — John Byrne. John, you made me what I am today. And as far as I'm concerned, you can come back and do me anytime.
