Warning: Spoilers Off applies to Heartwarming pages.

  • In a minor blink and you'll miss it moment, during the scene where Bowser merges with Prince Florian's castle to become a giant Ominous Floating Castle himself after touching a Wonder Flower, Toadette is shown nearly tripping and falling over from the rumbling that Bowser causes until Daisy prevents her from falling over causing Toadette to look over at her with a happy and thankful expression while Daisy gives her a reassuring smile in response. It's minor, but it's also very sweet and it shows that despite her rough and tomboyish personality, Daisy is truly a kind sweetheart underneath it all.
  • In a promotional short for the game, Bowser is shown trying to woo Princess Peach, only for an Elephant Fruit to come and turn Peach into an elephant. Bowser then expresses shock and ditches the flower... for an entire bouquet of flowers. In a way, this shows Bowser still loves the princess, no matter what she looks like or that he simply likes the princess better when she's more Bowser-sized.
  • If you finish a level in Elephant form and have water in your trunk, your character will water the Poplin at the end, who will happily bloom in thanks. Talking Flowers who are thirsty thank you for the drink as well.
  • A villainous example; Bowser Jr.'s motive for raising the lava in Deep Magma Bog is because he's worried that his dad is getting bored preparing his Wonder, so he wants to make a fireworks show to entertain him.
  • In the ending, the yellow Yoshi who eyed Nabbit with suspicion in the intro now cheerfully regards the mischievous rabbit thief as an ally.
  • The final level features a montage of challenges featuring nearly every wonder effect in the game, with the final effect being the one from the first level. The Talking Flower's line makes it all the more touching.
"You've really come a long way."
  • Also in the final level, the Talking Flowers frequently spout encouraging remarks to you throughout the game, which comes to a head right before the final boss:
    "You're gonna be amazing."
  • Throughout the entire final battle, Bowser's army is visible in the background jumping to the beat of his theme and cheering him on, rooting for their king to finally take home the win.
